This is going to be a very long, detailed review, but let me just say I am so happy I trusted my gut to stay here. To start, this location is absolutely unbeatable. You are in the heart of the French Quarter, steps from Jackson Square and Bourbon St. while still managing to avoid the chaos of it all. We had a balcony room facing St. Ann, which was perfect because at night, it was less rowdy while still having some activity going on. If you are not sensitive to loud noises, book the room facing Bourbon and relish in the thick of it all. I will say, the garbage pick up and street cleaning that takes place early in the morning is very loud, but somewhat inevitable to avoid so I dealt with it. The suite itself was stunning - fun, modern decor, extra chairs to pull out on the balcony, huge bathroom (our shower water pressure was just fine, no issues with hot water either), and the bedroom upstairs was the perfect dose of privacy needed after a long day exploring. The courtyard/pool area is stunning (heated salt water pool, so pack your suit!) and the lobby is also a work of art. A few critiques: The hotel has a cafe on site (Roux), a hotel bar in the lobby, and then a separate jazz bar connected on the other side. Being a bar just steps away from Bourbon heading into Mardi Gras season, I was surprised how ill stocked they were. Constantly running out of supplies, wine, etc. and having to step out back for large periods at a time. Things happen, and I will say the staffs positivity absolutely overshadowed this (they didn’t allow it to impact their demeanor), but it was something I wanted to note. Breakfast at Roux was also a bit of a struggle. We ordered 3 mimosas that took nearly 30 minutes. We were greeted by 4 different staff who said they don’t normally work here, but they were just trying to help. The miscommunication in whether our order was ever even taken became kind of frustrating. We were almost late for our brunch reservation so we had to chug our drinks and move on. My point in mentioning all this - there is so much fabulous food in NOLA, venture out. The hotel bar is a convenience, but shouldn’t be an end all be all. And like I said, the staff was consistently friendly and courteous. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. The room alone was incentive, but the location really seals the deal. We felt incredibly safe, and getting an uber or ride to places/the airport (20 minutes away) couldn’t be easier. Ignore some of the negative reviews and stay at the Bourbon Orleans hotel!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had an amazing time . It was our 1st trip to New Orleans and from minute one we felt right at home. From the valet service to the concierge to the bartender everyone was friendly, helpful and genuine. The hotel itself is beautiful and elegant centrally located right off Bourbon Street. So happy to have discovered the Bourbon Orleans. We will be back!!

Location, location, location is probably top on this list. Block from burbon st. Three blocks from Cafe Du Monde. Two from Jackson square. Started rough with getting proper room. Been amazing since. Staff have been super, especially the gentleman at the concierge desk. Super friendly. Safe street and very safe hotel including surrounding the entry as you approach. This is key in French corridor and Burbon Orleans delivers. Breakfast is pretty good depending on the chef, and really convenient way to start the day. Now the room portion. Booked a room online for valentine's day. Spoke with representative and booked via phone and was told I booked a street view room. Heck I paid for it extra. I know it was street view because they offered to upgrade me to a courtyard view. Cannot count on getting the proper room you booked - especially during peak season. Overall this is a spot I would reccomend and stay at again, would say likely best in the corridor for service and location.

We had a really nice stay at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect - right in the heart of everything so we could easily walk to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, we had a great visit and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel over Christmas, and it was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautiful and, despite being right in the heart of the French Quarter, it was peaceful and relaxing. The holiday decorations were stunning and really added to the magic of the season. Our room was well-appointed, quiet, and impeccably clean. What truly made our stay special was the staff. I can’t say enough good things about Jay at the front desk, Melissa the concierge, and Ricky the bartender. Jay went above and beyond to make sure our room was perfect and even recommended the best jazz bar in town—Fritzel’s, which was fantastic. Melissa took the time to put together a thoughtful list of restaurants and was available every day to patiently answer my endless questions about where to go, what to see, and where to eat. Ricky is a warm, friendly, and highly skilled bartender—every drink was perfectly made and on point. These amazing individuals truly embody Southern hospitality and made us feel like family. I highly recommend the Bourbon Orleans Hotel and thank the incredible staff for such a memorable and delightful stay.

My stay at Bourbon Orleans Hotel was truly unforgettable. I was traveling solo, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe, welcomed, and that I had the best possible experience. Their kindness and compassion meant more to me than they will probably ever know. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning—without a doubt the prettiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Every detail felt beautiful and historic, and the atmosphere made the whole trip feel so special. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. Mr. Kenny at the front door always greeted me with such warmth. Billy at the concierge desk gave me the best recommendations and made sure I knew exactly where to go to have fun and experience the city. Alanah at the bar quickly felt more like a friend than a bartender, and Tyro, the bar bouncer, always made sure I was safe and looked out for me. Traveling alone can feel intimidating at times, but the team here made me feel like family. They turned what could have been just a hotel stay into a truly meaningful experience. I will never forget this trip or the incredible people who made me feel so special during my time there. I’m so incredibly grateful.

Flights were canceled and I almost had a tragedy in my home where I could not stay safely. So I picked this hotel, and they treated me with the utmost empathy and kindness for my birthday. And being alone for my birthday after a lot of flights getting canceled and I couldn't get another flight out. They accommodated me with a better room. After the other rooms were not so good, but they corrected what was wrong in order to go above and beyond to make my stay more comfortable i went above and beyond to make it even better after that ! Not only did they do that, they made me feel like a part of their family. They do this for every guest because I see it every time I see another guest walk away with a smile or happy. I am very impressed by this hotel and it's such a historic hotel as well as a historic area.By the famous cathedral. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a history. A romantic getaway.Or just time away buy yourself for some comfort ans some you time.
